Disney have shared a new clip from their latest Star Wars Original series, Ahsoka, ahead of the show’s 2-episode premiere next week on August 23. The clip gives us a new look at Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Hera Syndulla and Chopper in action, as well as Rosario Dawson fighting off two foes.
Set after the fall of the Empire, the new limited series follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Written by Dave Filoni, Ahsoka stars Rosario Dawson (Haunted Mansion), Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Day Shift), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey), Lars Mikkelsen (The Witcher), Ray Stevenson (Vikings), Ivanna Sakhno (High Fidelity), Diana Lee Inosanto (The Mandalorian), Wes Chatham (The Expanse), and David Tennant (Good Omens).
Hayden Christensen will also reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vadar in the upcoming series, along with Temuera Morrison returning to a galaxy far far away, this time as Captain Rex.
The latest Star Wars series will consist of a total of 8 episodes, released weekly, and is set to conclude on October 4.
Ahsoka has its 2-episode premiere on Disney+ on August 23, 2023
