Marvel Studios have shared the first trailer for the second season of Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson. The series premieres on Disney+ on October 6.
Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.
Returning for season two alongside Hiddleston and Wilson are Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Jonathan Majors, Tara Strong, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, and Neil Ellice.
Newcomers to the cast this season include Rafael Casal (Blindspotting), Kate Dickie (The Green Knight), Liz Carr (Good Omens), and Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All At Once).
Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead are confirmed to have directed the majority of this season, with Eric Martin having written all six episodes this season, and episode four and six co-written by Katharyn Blair.
Season Two of Loki arrives on Disney+ On October 6.
