Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani in Marvel's The Marvels

Marvel Studios have shared a brand new trailer for The Marvels, directed by Candyman’s Nia DaCosta. The film, which sees Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris , and Iman Vellani return to their respective roles as Captain Marvel, Captain Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Kham (aka Ms. Marvel), is scheduled to open in cinemas on November 10.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

A Cosmic Team-Up

Joining Larson, Parris, and Vellani in the latest entry to Marvel’s ever-growing cinematic universe are Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, and Saagar Shaikh. Currently doing his thing in Marvel’s Secret Invasion series on Disney+, Samuel L. Jackson will also return as Nick Fury.

Along with a new trailer, Marvel also shared a stunning new poster for the film. The poster, adorned with vibrant colours and intricate details, is a rare poster W for Marvel, who are often (rightly) criticised for their painfully basic and lacklustre posters.

The Marvels arrives in cinemas on November 10.
