During San Diego Comic-Con this weekend NetherRealm Studios took the opportunity to reveal the first ‘Kombat Pack’ roster for Mortal Kombat 1 ahead of the game’s arrival this September.
Characters confirmed for MK1’s ‘Kombat Pack’ include:
- Homelander
- Peacemaker
- Omni-Man
- Ermac
- Quan Chi
- Takeda

Seeing DC’s Peacemaker, Invincible’s Omni-Man, and The Boys’ Homelander finally confirmed as DLC characters may not come as a surprise to some, because as well as them being long rumoured to be part of the game, Amazon accidentally leaked the details a few days ago on a now de-listed page.
Mortal Kombat Co-Creator, Ed Boon, confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that J.K. Simmons will be voicing Omni-Man in the game. Fans are waiting with bated breath for confirmation if John Cena and Antony Starr will be voicing their respective characters – which seems like a possibility with Simmons’ involvement.
It was recently confirmed that Jean-Claude Van Damme will be voicing the character that was inspired by him and his roles in films like Bloodsport and Kickboxer, Johnny Cage. The character will also have a playable skin that looks like Van Damme and is confirmed to be part of the ‘Kombat Pack’.
